With a grain size of 0.1-2 mm, this texture is perfect for simulating a variety of ground compositions, from fine volcanic sand to coarser stones. Its versatility allows you to create different textures, from barren, ash-grey plains to rich, dark soils in forests or volcanic environments. The deep tones of Vulcan Black add a dramatic, intense effect to your miniature scenes.

For secure adhesion, use Terrain Fixer, a fixing medium that works through capillary action to hold the sand and gravel firmly in place. It can be easily applied with a pipette or dispenser and diluted with Airbrush Thinner or water for better spread. Once dry, it provides a matte finish that perfectly complements the natural look of your diorama.
