Shipping Policy
If you select Free Shipping (when offered) we will select the carrier of our choice and may or may not include tracking or insurance. When choosing a shipping option at checkout - If the item(s) being shipped requires a larger dimension shipping box, our shipping department may change the shipping to a different carrier based on the cost of the shipment or when USPS does not accept a shipment with the larger dimension size (ex- item is too large to send via USPS). We do take in account the estimated shipping dates when making this change and at times this change may allow you to receive the item sooner (example - you paid for USPS ground advantage, but we changed this to UPS Ground). We also have to follow shipping regulations for HAZMAT items such as paint and Lithium Ion batteries. These items must go out via ground transportation (UPS Ground or USPS Ground Advantage).
We strive to ship most orders within 48 business hours from when the order was placed (excluding holidays and weekends). Tracking is included with all UPS and USPS shipments. If there is a concern of a lost or missing packages - please contact us so we can start the process of tracking the shipment with the carrier. Should you receive a broken item due to shipping, please contact us via email with photo proof of the damaged shipping box including the shipping label and damaged photos of the item itself. We will start the claim with the shipping service on your behalf.
White Rose Hobbies has no control in any delays of delivery due to the postal service or UPS. If you have concern regarding a delay in your delivery/tracking - please contact the carrier directly as well as making us aware of the issue.
Please note again - when selecting the USPS Ground Advantage shipping service (typically the cheapest shipping option available) - this is the slowest shipping option available and it also has the most shipping delays and least amount of tracking scans. We get weekly notifications in delayed shipments when this method was selected. Please be aware that we will help track any shipments with delays, but we are unable to file a claim for a package as being lost until it hasn't delivered for 15 days after the item was shipped out. We want to warn our customer that if an order placed is needed within a certain timeframe - the USPS Ground Advantage shipping option is not recommended. Most delays deliver within the 15 days before a claim can be started, however we have seen some deliver up to over a month late long after a claim was filed and considered LOST and the customer was refunded.

Hazmat/Liquids/Batteries
We have most hazmat liquid and items with batteries configured to use a ground shipment option. If for some reason USPS Priority is selected for some of these items we will automatically ship them via a ground option. Shipping of paints/batteries or other hazmat items cannot be shipped internationally due to requiring ground shipping - these orders will be cancelled/refunded.
Import Duty, GST/VAT & Other Charges
Our shipping quotes for international shipping methods may not include Import Duty, GST/VAT or other carrier fees for shipments outside the of the USA and you may need to pay any additional charges at the time of delivery. Shipping quotes for USPS shipping methods do NOT include Import Duty, GST/VAT or other carrier fees for shipments outside the of the USA. You may need to pay these charges at the time of delivery to your shipping address.
