Trumpeter Scale Models 949 1/16 German Tiger King Heavy Tank Henschel Turret 105mm gun
Model Kit
The Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. B, or "Tiger II," was a German heavy tank of World War II. The "Henschel turret" variant is the most common and widely recognized version. The Pz.Kpfw.VI Sd.Kfz.182 Tiger II Henschel 105mm is a "what-if" or paper panzer variant. This design was never actually produced or used in combat. It is based on a hypothetical upgrade of the Tiger II, which would have replaced the standard 8.8 cm KwK 43 L/71 gun with a more powerful, larger-caliber 10.5 cm KwK L/68 gun. This concept represents a theoretical final evolution of the Tiger II, aimed at even greater firepower to combat Allied tanks and bunkers.
1/16 is a massive scale for a tank model, allowing for extraordinary detail. The finished model will have a length of 706mm and a width of 233mm. The kit has over 1500 parts, which are spread across 35 sprues. It includes photo-etched and metal parts such as copper cables, steel tubing, pins, and springs. The model features refined detail, multi-slide molded upper and lower hulls, complete interior details, and individual track links.
