The Hetzer was a WWII light-tank destroyer built on the Czech Panzer 38(t), which the Germans acquired before the war. Over 1,000 tanks were ordered directly by Hitler in January 1944. The Hetzer was powered by a Praga AC/26-cylinder engine with a Praga-Wilson gearbox. With the 75mm gun, the tank weighed in at 15 tons with a 42km/h top speed. The interior of the Hetzer was quite cramped, with a loader, gunner, and driver set in a row on the left-hand side of the tank. This model kit has over 780 plastic parts and faithfully recreates the German Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer STARR Tank in 1/35 scale. The fully assembled model is 20.49cm long and 7.84cm wide.
