Originally built as a sister ship to RMS Titanic and RMS Olympic, Britannic was redesigned with additional safety features following the Titanic disaster before entering service as a hospital ship during World War I. She served with distinction transporting wounded Allied personnel until her loss in the Aegean Sea in 1916. With its large scale and considerable presence, this kit offers ship modelers an opportunity to build a historically significant subject with plenty of scope for careful detailing and finishing.
