Key components have been redesigned and beefed-up with extra material to ensure Rustler takes even the most brutal punishment in stride. Rustler includes a powerful 8.4 volt 3000 mAh Traxxas Power Cell rechargeable NiMH battery pack to reach its 35+ mph top speed. Fast 4-amp charging is available virtually anywhere thanks to the included 45+ watt USB-C battery charger with iD® technology. Power adapter and cable sold separately. For maximum charge rate use Traxxas 2912 45-watt power adapter and 2916 100-watt power cable. The Traxxas iD system is the easiest and safest way to charge your Traxxas batteries. The charger automatically recognizes the iD battery and optimizes the charge settings as soon as you plug it in. There’s no guesswork involved, just fast, reliable charging every time.

Rustler's powerful Titan 12T 550 motor is made for dirt-roosting torque, lightning-quick acceleration, hardcore wheelies, explosive jumping, and just about any other 4-wheel fun that demands real horsepower. The Titan's oversize armature features 12 turns of pure copper wire for big torque and increased power-handling. The integrated cooling fan pulls cool air through the motor to keep temperatures down for more fun behind the wheel. The Titan 12T requires very little maintenance and provides consistent torque and high speeds run-after-run.

The waterproof XL-5™ electronic speed control handles the elements while smoothly supplying power to the motor. The XL-5 features three throttle profiles, low voltage detection, Thermal Shutdown Protection, 4-7 cell NiMH and 2-cell LiPo compatibility, and built-in BEC. High frequency operation combined with ultra-low resistance make the XL-5 an efficient and ultra-smooth fully proportional speed control. The exclusive and patented Training Mode™ reduces the overall power output of the XL-5 by 50%, making it easier for young or new drivers to develop their control skills before unleashing full-power.
