Tichy Train Group 8328 HO Scale 1911 PRR Watchman's Shanty Kit

This is an exact scale model of the prr standard watch box from the 1911 plans. They were used to provide shelter for watchmen at road crossings in populated areas throughout the steam era. It has separate door and windows for easy painting and includes precut glazing. Roof is one piece except for the included separate chimney pipe. Base is also included, base is 3/4 by 1 inch. Coal bins (part 8167) were often found next to these to supply coal for the pot bellied stove. Roof centered on base is 1 3/32 x 1 5/16 inches. Injection molded in gray styrene.
