DON-2N is an early warning radar for ballistic missile defense developed in the former Soviet Union near Moscow, Russia. Its NATO code is Pillbox. Started research in 1963 by the Moscow Institute of Radio Engineering of the Soviet Academy of Sciences, this facility is shaped like the top half of a square pyramid with a phased array antenna installed on each side.
