Developed for the Swedish Army, the Bandvagn 206 was found to be such a useful all-terrain carrier that many other nations including Canada, the United States, the British Armed Forces, Israel, Brazil and many more have adopted it for their own use! Canada, in fact, used their BV 206s with great effect during Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan saving their troops much exhaustion from not having to traverse a lot of mountainous terrain by foot.
