The number plate reads Colorful California 59 323, 1954 and our 1954 Buick Century Estate is aptly described, having a bright two-tone color scheme of pale green body with a white roof. The seats are a darker leaf green, exterior trim is finished in chrome with a wiped black radiator grille and the customary white wall tyres.

The Century name represented six generations of cars aimed at varying markets. All of them, including the 1954 station wagon featured an FR layout which incorporated a transverse front engine and rear wheel drive. The Buick Century Estate Wagon represented one of the second generation of vehicles produced between 1954 and 1958 and was classed as an upscale, full-sized car.
