An artist signed jigsaw puzzle from the Artist Signature Series, titled Monjeau Lookout, features the famous Monjeau Lookout high upon Monjeau Peak in the Lincoln National Forest of New Mexico. The Monjeau Lookout is a famous landmark of the Smokey Bear Ranger District. Originally built in 1936 and then rebuilt in 1940 as a Civilian Corps Project. The site is a wonderful and adventurous place to visit. Access is obtained via a steep, dirt and gravel Forest Service road that wanders and meanders along the edge of cliffs and through valleys. This beautiful puzzle features Monjeau Lookout during a summer thunderstorm, in the midst of monsoon season. Sun streams between the rain-laden storm clouds, warming the landscape and accentuating the beautiful green foliage at 9,600 feet above sea level.
