Build one of South America’s most distinctive combat aircraft with this highly detailed 1/48 scale IA-58 Pucará model kit from Kinetic. Designed and manufactured by Argentina’s Fábrica Militar de Aviones, the Pucará was developed in the late 1960s as a rugged counter-insurgency and ground-attack aircraft capable of operating from short, rough airstrips. Entering Argentine Air Force service in 1975, the twin-engine turboprop aircraft became most famous for its use during the Falklands War, where it conducted close air support, reconnaissance, and patrol missions in challenging conditions. Its robust construction, excellent low-speed handling, and heavy armament made it well suited for operations in remote environments. This kit features finely engraved surface detail, a detailed cockpit, accurately reproduced twin-engine nacelles, landing gear, external stores, and high-quality decals for authentic markings.
