Build a legendary French naval strike aircraft with this highly detailed 1/48 scale Super Étendard / Super Étendard Modernisé model kit from Kinetic. Developed by Dassault-Breguet as an evolution of the Étendard IV, the Super Étendard was designed specifically for carrier operations with the French Navy, combining precision strike capability with excellent handling characteristics. Entering service in the late 1970s, the aircraft became famous for its use aboard French aircraft carriers and for its combat debut during the Falklands War, where Argentine Navy Super Étendards successfully employed Exocet anti-ship missiles against British naval forces. Later modernized versions received upgraded avionics, improved navigation systems, and enhanced weapons capabilities, allowing the aircraft to remain operational for decades.
