Developed jointly by France and West Germany during the 1970s, the Alpha Jet became one of the most successful advanced jet trainers of the Cold War while also serving as a capable light attack aircraft. Operated by numerous air forces around the world, it earned a reputation for excellent handling, reliability, and versatility, with the French Air Force’s Patrouille de France aerobatic team helping cement its iconic status. Kinetic’s 1/48 scale kit faithfully reproduces both the Alpha Jet A and E variants with finely engraved surface detail, a highly detailed tandem cockpit, optional open or closed canopy, detailed landing gear and wheel wells, external fuel tanks and weapons, and multiple marking options for international operators.
