The two-seat Harrier trainer was developed to prepare pilots for one of the world’s most unique combat aircraft, providing invaluable instruction in the demanding techniques of vertical and short takeoff and landing (V/STOL) operations. Serving with both the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy, the T.2, T.2A, T.2N, T.4, T.4N, and T.8 variants trained generations of Harrier pilots while retaining the performance and distinctive appearance of their operational counterparts. Kinetic’s 1/48 scale kit accurately represents these important trainer versions with finely engraved surface detail, a highly detailed tandem cockpit, optional open or closed canopy, detailed landing gear, and a selection of external stores and fuel tanks. Multiple marking options allow builders to recreate aircraft from different stages of Harrier service.
