Straight out of the JConcepts 3rd dimension, the 3DP tire designed and developed for carpet off-road racing is a new winner in the line-up. Up to this point, the JConcepts Fuzz Bite, Pin Swag, and artificial surface tires have dominated events around the world. The superior design, tire compounds, and pre-mount availability have established these items as go-to favorites for racers for the last several years. Introducing the latest, the 3DP revolutionary tire capable of high-performance with advanced wear characteristics. A longer life span on the carpet is created by adding pins and surface edges without reducing driving stability.

Looking back in the JConcepts arsenal, a dirt tire was released in 2011 named the 3D. The tire was developed as half pin and half bar tire to give a lot of flexibility on different surfaces. Using this identity, the team from Groveland, Florida adapted the Fuzz Bite “reverse water tower pins” to the 3DP with a massive increase in pin quantity for the center portion of the tire. For the inside and outside positions, unique bars which have been cut and sliced for increased flexibility are positioned like the original 3D dirt tire.

More pins are added in the open spaces utilizing the original concept to allow slightly more space on the outside. A radial ring is added to the outside portion of the upper sidewall to provide low edges of contact patch to the racing surface. The 2.2” bead mounting diameter fits to popular wheels like the #3376 Mono wheels available in bright white and fluorescent yellow. In addition to Mono wheels, JConcepts also offers separately the Pioneer wheels for modern vehicles featuring the raised panel design available in new colors such as retro pink.
