The 44M Tas Rohamlöveg was a proposed Hungarian World War II assault gun/tank destroyer, based on the 44M Tas medium/heavy tank platform. Although the project never reached completion, it represents Hungary’s attempt to develop more advanced armored fighting vehicles to counter increasingly powerful Soviet armor on the Eastern Front.
