Hasegawa 49111 1/700 IJN Haruna Japanese Battleship (Water Line)

Model Kit

The Hasegawa 1/700 scale waterline model kit recreates the IJN Haruna, one of the Imperial Japanese Navy’s most notable battleships of World War II. Originally commissioned in 1915 as a Kongō-class battlecruiser, Haruna underwent extensive modernization that transformed her into a fast battleship capable of supporting carrier task forces and participating in major naval operations. She saw action throughout the Pacific War, including the Battle of Midway campaign and the naval battles around Guadalcanal and Leyte Gulf. This kit features the distinctive profile of the heavily armed warship in a waterline configuration, making it an excellent addition to a Japanese naval collection or a WWII Pacific theater diorama.
