Hasegawa 30067 1/72 Tiger I & Panther G (2 kits) Tank

Model Kit

The Tiger I was a formidable German heavy tank of World War II, renowned for its powerful 88 mm gun and exceptionally thick armor. Introduced in 1942, it combined devastating firepower with a heavily armored design that made it one of the most feared tanks on the battlefield. Despite its impressive offensive and defensive capabilities, the Tiger I was mechanically complex, prone to breakdowns, and slow compared to medium tanks, requiring careful logistical support. Its sheer size, imposing silhouette, and ability to destroy enemy armor at long ranges earned it legendary status among both German crews and Allied forces. Though only about 1,350 were built, the Tiger I left a lasting legacy as an icon of armored warfare.

The Panther Ausf. G was a German medium tank introduced in 1944, designed to combine mobility, firepower, and protection to counter the Soviet T-34. Armed with a high-velocity 75 mm KwK 42 L/70 gun and featuring sloped frontal armor for enhanced defense, the Panther G could engage enemy tanks effectively at long ranges while remaining more maneuverable than the heavier Tiger I. Its balanced design made it a versatile and lethal opponent on the battlefield, capable of both offensive thrusts and defensive operations. Although mechanically complex and demanding in maintenance, the Panther G became a mainstay of late-war German armored units, earning a reputation for precision, speed, and striking effectiveness.
