The F‑35A Lightning II as operated by the 302nd Tactical Fighter Squadron (302SQ) of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF). This squadron, known as the “White Tailed Eagles,” celebrated its 50th anniversary with a special paint scheme, prominently displaying a large white-tailed eagle emblem.
