The Subaru 360 was Japan’s first true kei car, designed to be small, affordable, and efficient during the postwar recovery period. It was nicknamed the “ladybug” due to its round, bubbly shape. The Deluxe trim was a slightly more upscale version, featuring chrome trim and improved interior appointments over the Standard.
