The Grandt Line 5904 HO Scale The Silverton Ore Chute Kit captures the rugged character of the ore-loading structures that once lined the narrow gauge mining railroads of Colorado’s San Juan Mountains. Inspired by the rich mining heritage around Silverton and the famous Denver & Rio Grande Western lines that served the region, this detailed kit represents the kind of timber chute used to load freshly mined ore into waiting gondolas and hoppers bound for distant smelters.

Easy to assemble, this kit includes an ore chute structure as well as cribbing sections. There are enough stair and railing components so that you can arrange them to suit your needs. There are diagonally sheathed double doors on the back-side of the chute.
