Exactrail Platinum EP81708-6 HO Scale Magor 4948 Big John Covered Hopper Southern 8254

Available in three road numbers, the Southern ‘Dark Sylvan’ Green paint scheme represents the Magor 4948 covered hopper after the repaint program of the 1970s. The repaint versions of this paint scheme bore the sub-lettering for the SRR subsidiary the Cincinnati, New Orleans and Texas Pacific Railway. If you model the 1973 time period and after, this is the car for you. This paint scheme is complete with ACI labels and single COTS blocks. Many “Big John” covered hoppers were retired in this paint scheme. These cars would look great interspersed among the “Big Johns” in the orange paint schemes.
