Dremel 9906 1/8" Tungsten Carbide Carving Bit with Rounded End
Dremel’s highly-durable tungsten carbide carving bits can be used for more aggressive applications to shape, smooth, or grind hard materials such as metals, hardened steel, fire ceramics, cast iron, plastics, and hardwoods. The versatile 1/8 In. (3.2 mm) diameter carving bit is made of tungsten carbide. For use with all Dremel high-speed rotary tools, the accessories work well for projects like metal or glass engraving, stone carving, or removing flash from castings. The oval shape of the carving bit can be used to round edges and to make concave cuts.
FEATURES:
- Shapes, smooths or grinds especially hard materials including: hardened steel, stainless steel, cast iron, nonferrous metals, fired ceramics, plastics and hard woods
- A high-speed bit made of tungsten carbide, the hardest material next to diamonds
- Use higher speeds for hard woods, slower speeds for metals and very slow speeds for plastics
- Use the sides of the bit (Rather than the tip) for effective cutting
