The MV-22 Ospreys have been assigned to the HMX-1, the Marine Helicopter Squadron One, the prestigious unit flying the familiar green and white-topped helicopters out of the White House lawn for transportation of the President of the United States, Vice President, Cabinet members and other VIPs.
