COBI 4819 1/300 WWII Battleship Bismarck
2430 Pieces
NOS (New Old Stock)
Bismarck is a German battleship from the period of World War II, which entered into service on August 24, 1940. It was the largest, next to the twin “Tirpitz”, ship Kriegsmarine. On September 28, 1940 “Bismarck” went on its first voyage. It was sunk on May 27, 1941 during the sea battle. The model of the ship created by COBI company was produced in 1:300 scale. It consists of 2030 elements and is 84.5 cm long. It faithfully reflects the proportions of the historical ship and retains all its essential elements, including the original camouflage. In this edition the stickers have been completely replaced by high quality prints. The latest edition of Bismarck includes significantly modified deck artillery, darker chains, anchors, a new flag pattern and the latest micro aircraft version. The model has numerous movable parts such as propellers, rudders, rotating towers and gun barrels that can be raised and lowered.
The kit also includes a very stable and aesthetic black display stand with a plate on which the name of the ship is printed. Since it is a large and quite complex model, we recommend it mainly to veteran collectors and older, experienced brick fans. It does not require gluing or painting.
