A unique example of Germany’s late-war self-propelled anti-aircraft solutions, the Möbelwagen 3.7cm Flak on Pz.Kpfw. IV chassis (Sd.Kfz. 161/4) was designed to provide mobile air defense for armored and mechanized units. Based on the Panzer IV chassis, it featured a 3.7cm Flak gun mounted within a foldable, open-topped superstructure that could be lowered for transport or raised for firing. This design reflected the urgent need to protect armored formations from Allied air superiority during the latter stages of World War II.
