A versatile and historically significant variant of Germany’s Panzer IV medium tank, the Ausf. G Mid/Late model reflects the continual evolution of this workhorse vehicle to meet the growing challenges of mid-to-late World War II armored warfare. Introduced in 1942–43, the Ausf. G combined the long-barreled 7.5cm KwK 40 L/43 gun with reinforced armor, improved turret design, and hull refinements, providing both firepower and survivability against increasingly potent Allied tanks on the Eastern and Western Fronts.
