Its wheel arrangement became popular after Baldwin delivered the first engines to Japan Railways in 1893. This Seaboard #494 with Medium Tender - USRA Light 2-8-2 Steam Locomotives & Tender is DCC-ready with an installed 8-pin socket. It has a directional headlight, electrical pickup and E-Z Mate Mark II knuckle couplers. For best performance, run on 18-inch radius curves or greater.
