The AFV Club 1/700 Cheng Kung-class frigate kit showcases one of the Republic of China Navy’s most important modern surface combatants, featuring the ship’s distinctive Hsiung Feng II and Hsiung Feng III anti-ship missile systems. Based on the U.S. Oliver Hazard Perry-class design, the Cheng Kung class entered service in the 1990s and was locally built in Taiwan with modifications to meet ROCN requirements, including enhanced indigenous missile capabilities.
