The AAV7A1 RAM/RS with EAAK represents one of the most heavily upgraded versions of the U.S. Marine Corps’ long-serving amphibious assault vehicle. Incorporating the Reliability, Availability and Maintainability/Rebuild to Standard (RAM/RS) modernization program, these vehicles received extensive mechanical and reliability improvements, while the Enhanced Appliqué Armor Kit (EAAK) added bolt-on armor to significantly increase protection against small arms fire, improvised explosive devices, and battlefield threats encountered during operations in Iraq and elsewhere. This 1/35 scale kit faithfully reproduces the upgraded vehicle with its distinctive applique armor panels, detailed suspension and running gear, finely molded exterior features, and authentic U.S. Marine Corps markings. Combining impressive size with modern combat details, it is an excellent centerpiece.
