The Dodge WC63 “Big Shot” was a rugged and capable member of the U.S. Army’s World War II 1½-ton 6x6 truck family, designed to provide reliable transportation for personnel, supplies, and equipment across demanding battlefield conditions. Built on the successful WC series chassis, the WC63 featured an extended wheelbase compared to the WC51 and WC52, offering increased carrying capacity while maintaining excellent off-road mobility. Thousands served with U.S. forces and Allied units during World War II, supporting operations in Europe, North Africa, and the Pacific.
