The YPR765-PRI was a Dutch variant of the American-designed M113 armored personnel carrier, extensively upgraded by the Royal Netherlands Army to meet European Cold War battlefield requirements. The PRI (Pantser Rups Infanterie) infantry fighting vehicle version featured a two-person turret armed with a 25mm Oerlikon KBA cannon, providing improved firepower against light armored vehicles and infantry compared with the original M113. Entering Dutch service in the late 1970s, the YPR765 family became a key component of the Netherlands’ mechanized forces and remained in service for decades. This 1/35 scale kit accurately recreates the YPR765-PRI with its distinctive turret, detailed cannon system, realistic tracked suspension, finely molded hull features, and authentic Dutch Army markings.
