The Republic of China Army’s CM-32/33 “Clouded Leopard” represents Taiwan’s modern approach to indigenous armored vehicle development, and this highly detailed 1/35 scale kit from AFV Club captures the distinctive 8x8 wheeled infantry fighting vehicle with exceptional accuracy. Developed to replace aging armored personnel carriers while providing improved mobility, protection, and survivability, the Clouded Leopard entered service in the late 2000s and has become a cornerstone of Taiwan’s mechanized forces. This versatile kit allows the modeler to build either the CM-32 command vehicle, CM-33 armored personnel carrier, or the Presidential emergency evacuation vehicle, and features finely molded details, photo-etched parts, rubber tires, steerable front axles, a fully rotating remote weapon station, optional armor configurations, and positionable doors for a highly realistic display.
