The CM-11 “Brave Tiger” is one of the Republic of China Army’s most recognizable main battle tanks, combining the proven hull of the American M60A3 with the advanced fire control system and turret technology of the M48A3. Developed in the late 1980s as part of Taiwan’s effort to modernize its armored forces, the CM-11 provided a significant improvement in firepower and battlefield effectiveness while utilizing existing equipment already in service.
