The M109A6 Paladin is one of the most advanced versions of the U.S. Army’s highly successful M109 self-propelled howitzer family, combining the proven 155mm artillery platform with upgraded fire-control systems, improved accuracy, and enhanced battlefield mobility. Entering service in the early 1990s, the Paladin became a cornerstone of modern U.S. armored artillery units, providing rapid-response indirect fire support for mechanized formations during conflicts from Operation Desert Storm onward. AFV Club’s 1/35 scale kit captures this iconic Cold War-to-modern era artillery system with detailed hull and turret components, accurate 155mm gun assembly, realistic suspension, and finely reproduced external equipment.
