The AEC Matador was one of Britain’s most important military transport vehicles of World War II, providing reliable heavy-duty service as an artillery tractor, supply vehicle, and general-purpose hauler across multiple theaters of war. Built by the Associated Equipment Company, the Matador was known for its rugged construction, excellent off-road capability, and ability to tow heavy guns such as the 5.5-inch medium gun and 3.7-inch anti-aircraft gun.
