The Sturmtiger was one of the most formidable armored fighting vehicles fielded by Germany during World War II, created by mounting the massive 38cm Raketenwerfer 61 rocket mortar onto the chassis of the Tiger I heavy tank. Designed for assaulting heavily fortified positions and urban strongholds, only 18 examples were produced between 1944 and 1945, making it one of the rarest and most distinctive German armored vehicles of the war. AFV Club’s 1/35 scale kit faithfully recreates this impressive vehicle with finely detailed exterior components, an accurately reproduced fighting compartment, realistic suspension and running gear, and the massive 38cm rocket launcher that defined the Sturmtiger’s unique appearance.
