The development of the Panzer III & Panzer IV experienced delays in 1934, leading to an emphasis on the production of the Panzer II. This tank was larger than its predecessor but was equipped with a relatively small 20mm Anti-tank gun. The production cycle lasted from 1937 until 1943. The tank was in service until 1945, with the Ausf. C is its most manufactured variant. The chassis of the Panzer II was used to build a variety of other armored fighting vehicles. This kit faithfully recreates the German Panzer II Ausf. F as seen in North Africa during WWII in 1/35 scale.
