The CH-47 was developed as a replacement for the CH-37 Mojave and since 1961 has seen action in operations ranging from Vietnam to Afghanistan. A troop transport, this large helicopter has also been used as a crane for artillery emplacement as well as a battlefield supplier. After the initial version of the CH-47A was created, several upgraded versions of this successful transport helicopter were introduced. The CH-47B version with more powerful engines and redesigned body or CH-47F version from 2001, with upgraded avionics, new engine, and landing gear. This kit contains plastic parts to faithfully recreate the CH-47 helicopter flown by the Air Forces of four nations. The fully assembled model is 21cm long and 4,2cm tall.
