This kit represents the evolution of the IAI Kfir—a design born from necessity and ingenuity. Developed from the French Mirage 5 airframe but re-engineered around the powerful General Electric J79 engine, the Kfir embodied Israel’s push for self-reliance in the wake of arms embargoes in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
