ACADEMY 12564 1/72 USN F/A-18C "VFA-192 Golden Dragons"
Model Aircraft Kit
This excellent fighter was constructed for the US Navy and the Marine Corps for operation on aircraft carriers of the Nimitz class. The fighter is capable of engaging targets at great distances in air, on land, and in the sea. On September 3, 1986, the flight testing of the improved variant F/A-18C with upgraded radar, avionics, and armament started. Since 1986, the F/A-18 has been engaged in many very significant US military operations, including securing air superiority, reconnaissance, airspace surveillance, and air-to-ground strikes. This kit contains transparent and plastic parts for faithful assembling F/A-18C from VFA-192 "Golden Dragons" with three finishing options in 1/72 scale. The fully assembled model is 23.7cm long and 6.6cm tall.
