ACADEMY 12533 1/72 USAAF B-17E "Pacific Theater"
Model Kit
The B-17 Flying Fortress was the most famous four-engine heavy bomber of World War II. Produced in the 1930s, the iconic B-17 was heavily modified and upgraded throughout its service and is known for dropping the most bombs during WWII. The first versions of this bomber were exposed to frontal attacks by German aircraft. Later variants of these bombers, like B-17E, were equipped with more powerful weapons to counter the German attacks successfully. This B-17E bomber is an excellent representation of the B-17 Flying Fortress as seen in the Pacific Theater. This kit includes over 75 transparent and plastic parts to build the B-17E with four finishing options in 1/72 scale.
FEATURES:
- Optional plastic and transparent parts for assembling B-17E bomber
