ACADEMY 12320 1/48 Russian Air Force MiG-21PF Fishbed-D
Model Kit
The Academy 12320 Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21PF Fishbed-D is a 1/48 scale plastic model kit of one of history's most iconic and widely produced supersonic jet fighters. This kit represents explicitly the MiG-21PF "Fishbed-D" variant, an early interceptor version distinguished by its larger nose cone (housing improved radar) and the absence of an internal gun, relying solely on missiles for air-to-air combat. The kit features finely engraved panel lines and rivets, a detailed cockpit interior, and clear parts for the canopy, with an option to display it open or closed. It typically includes a masking seal for painting the canopy and a selection of decals for various air forces that operated this prevalent Cold War jet, such as the Russian, North Vietnamese, East German, and Polish Air Forces.
