Western Maryland Railway Company

Western Maryland Railway Company Fireball Logo
The Western Maryland Railway ran right into York, Pa, in fact very close to the shop on the Dutch Line. The WM was a Class 1 railroad from 1852-1983 when it was merged into the Chessie System along with the B&O and C&O and ultimately CSX. We have collected some history over the years that we would like to share with you here. Please be sure to credit the original photographer when known along with White Rose Hobbies when sharing any of the information or photos found here.
