And while it bore a similar appearance to the VO-100, the VO-660 was approximately three feet shorter in length. The first VO-660 was ordered by the Northern Pacific Railroad, and had an oval grill (not manufactured by Stewart Hobbies). The first unit with the more common, angled front was the EJ\u0026amp;E #271, built in March, 1941.
