The restyled 1970 Road Runner was part of Plymouth's new \"Rapid Transit System\" family of high-performance cars. Whimsical new features included optional \"dust trail\" side stripes and a wild collection of attention grabbing \"High Impact\" paint colors. The optional 440+6 engine ran a trio of 2-barrel carbs and punched out 390 horsepower and a whopping 490 lb-ft of torque.
