These cars were built between 1915 and 1917. G22 gons remained in service throughout the PRR years, and many into work train service in Penn Central and even Conrail.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStarting in 1930, many G22 gons were equipped with 100-ton trucks and assigned to container service.
