The TriStar was generally quite popular with pilots and was therefore nicknamed the "Lucky Ten-Eleven." Outside the USA, British Airways from Great Britain, among others, used the TriStar, and in Germany, Düsseldorf-based LTU relied exclusively on the three-engine aircraft for years. In June 1973, the first aircraft arrived in Düsseldorf, and LTU's first TriStar destination was Ibiza. Flight routes such as Düsseldorf - Munich - Recife were offered, as were routes from Düsseldorf to Palma de Mallorca. Finally, in 1996, after a total of 23 years in service, LTU retired its last TriStar.

FEATURES:

Scale: 1:125

Parts: 79

Dimensions: 436 x 379mm

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0520/1972/4454/files/heller-80451-1-125-l1011-tristar-civilian-airliner-model-aircraft-kit.webp?v=1758470225
https://www.whiterosehobbies.com/products/heller-80451-1-125-l1011-tristar-civilian-airliner-model-aircraft-kit
